The purpose of the Receival Bin is to hold the nut after harvesting & transport the nut, via the elevator section of the Bin to the Dehusker for Dehusking.
Receival Bins can be situated either in-shed or in-ground (outside).
The type & size of the harvester will determine the size of the Receival Bin required.
The elevator is variable speed, allowing you to control the flow of nut to the dehusker at all times.
If the Receival bin is located inground, an extended neck is usually required to reach the Dehusker inlet hopper, the advantage of the inground receival bin, is that the emptying of harvested nut is easier to manage, as the bin sides are just above ground height.
